Michele is a writer, editor, and audio producer. Her work has appeared in The New Yorker, The Nation, Guernica, and elsewhere.

She is a 2023-2024 National Book Critics Circle Emerging Critics Fellow, and she is pursuing her MFA in fiction writing at Brooklyn College.
